St. Augustine Grass
St. Augustine grass is medium to dark green grass, with wide grass blades and coarse textured. It grows well in nearly all soil types and can grow in moderate to medium shade. St. Augustine grass is the most popular warm-season turf grass for home lawns in the southern United States. Some of the more popular varieties are Common, Raleigh, Seville, Palmetto and Floratam. Newer varieties like CitraBlue, Provista are modern adaptations to popular classic St. Augustine grass.
